romney is good at that. the the moderator asked romney if threatening china could ignite a trade war. >> they sell us about this much stuff every year. and we sell them about this much stuff every year. it's pretty clear who doesn't want a trade war. there's one going on right now, which we don't know about. and they are winning. >> romney likes to whine about china, but the president didn't let him get away with it. >> governor romney is right. you are familiar with jobs being shipped overseas because you invested in companies shipping jobs overseas. >> romney wants to label china a currency manipulator. but under president obama, exports have doubled. e he created a trade enforcement task force to prosecute china for cheating. he's also building regional relationships to pressure china to play fair. and there's one other trade policy the president reminded romney about last night. >> if we had taken your advice about the auto industry, we would be buying cars from china instead of selling cars to china. >>

>> you keep asking me who the real mitt romney is. i have no clue who the real mitt romney is. you had the speaker, newt gingrich, former speaker, newt gingrich on before. please youtube what the speaker said about mitt romney and think about what would make the speaker change his mind so much. when the speaker was talking about mitt romney when he was running against him, he calls him a flat-out liar. he said of mitt romney any man who will lie to get to the white house will lie when he is in the white house. so when i look at people like the former speaker, when i look at other republicans, pretty much every republican candidate who has ever run against mitt romney, all accuse him of having tremendous character flaws, not having a core, being willing to say anything to make it to the white house. this is not kind of where you look at a person and say well, this person's not qualified. >> i just said to beau biden earlier, it's all very well saying that but what about barack obama, i remember this being a very big moment, i was proud of it because i was against guantanamo bay.

romney into a fight and romney didn't take the bait. >> the fight didn't work well for romney when they did it a few weeks ago at hofstra. you want to be respectful to the president and the president had to defend a record that's kind of mediocre, and at the end of the day he was not particularly forthcoming. he was talking about he had nothing to do with the sequester which obviously his own omb director was the architect of it.quickly had to go out and take that back. and his little snarly remark about not knowing the difference between a bayonet and a submarine. he clearly didn't know that four years ago. the end of the day he didn't come off as well as he should have as commander in chief. >> the current commander in chief let mr. romney try to have it and tried to portray him as some sort of a cartoon. here he is alongside mr. romney, who reminded the president that attack me is not an agenda, mr. president. >> what we need to do with respect to the middle east is strong, steady leadership, not wrong and reckless leadership that is all over the map. >> attack me is not an agenda. a

michigan 15 votes, romney is one behind. minnesota 16 votes. romney is three behind. nevada 9 votes and romney s two behind. in all of those states obama is under 50. and so since we are going to get three quarters or four fifths of the undecided vote for romney i think romney has a good chance to win all those states but he is certainly going to win at least one so he is going to get at least the 15 votes. this business that everybody should hang on what happens in ohio is ridiculous. he could lose ohio and carry either pennsylvania or minnesota or michigan and wisconsin or new hampshire and iowa and win the election. and it is ridiculous to say that everything hinges on ohio. ohio is proving more in tractable and more dead even. but i believe that if you look at the polls in iowa they have many -- too many democrats and too few republicans and proper polls in iowa would show romney one or two points ahead. but frankly my view, greta, is that romney is going to win this election by more than five points and he is going to get north of 320 electoral votes. >> greta: l
